Ralph L., NY writes about Krieghoff's Double Rifle Drilling: If I was going to go to a larger caliber I would get a second set of barrels for my Krieghoff from you. I have to say no gun I have is as well regulated as the Krieghoff. It puts two shots downrange so close together you could say it was shot from single barreled rifle. Friends who have watched me shoot are amazed on how well the gun shoots. Therefore I have to say hands down no prewar double is as well regulated to my knowledge than my Krieghoff.

Joe, Ultra arrived today, everything is great. Wood turned out as you said it would. Krieghoff target is all in about 1.5 inches for a nice eight shot group. Dead up 8.5 lbs..

I thought you'd like to know that I just got back from an Idaho white tail hunt, where I took a 9 point buck with my Hubertus in 270 Winchester. I used a Federal Vital Shok with a 150 grain Sierra Gameking.
Just FYI, I took it on November 18 (2005) outside Grangeville, Idaho. It was a 305 yard shot (I used my Leica laser range finder on the buck just before shooting) across a canyon. I missed on the first shot, but scored a solid shoulder shot on the second (and who says you can't get a second shot off with a single shot rifle!).
Anyway, I thought you might enjoy seeing this. Take A Look

I am attaching a photo of the 8 point buck I took this year (2003) with the new DRD Krieghoff you sold me. It functioned flawlessly. I have done some range time with the gun and I love it. It shoots beautifully and has excellent trigger pull. I purchased a couple of 20 guage slugs by Brenneke and I am very satisfied the way they shoot and the accuracy achieved using them. You were right to say it is a tack driver with Brenneke's.... The new Krieghoff Quadro Double Rifle Drilling 2x30-06 / 20 ga 3" Mag. with 1.5-6x Kahles for 2004 add one buck and a turkey using accerlator 55 gr 30-06 at 80 yds.
